If the stone is not planned properly or if the design is flawed, the final output will be suboptimal and nothing can be done to rectify the situation at the execution stage or afterwards. This fact is well realized and appreciated by all diamantiares. And therefore they have laid a lot of stress and focus on this critical function. Huge investments have been made by all companies in planning and design equipments and technologies. However, this does not ensure optimum planning. There is always a lag between the invention of a new technology and its right use by the user industry. This is because; ultimately it is the people who have to operate the equipments and technology. And wherever there is human intervention, there is a possibility of mistakes, errors, misjudgments and sub-optimal output or results.

How it works  
   
Upon signing of this proposal LTM shall first require you to fill up a detailed pre-data form so as to enable us to collect information about the design pre-conditions used by your company such as :  
the conditions subject to which the stone should be planned viz. cut-class or make of stones in particular purities
your price list
such other information or instructions which you believe should be adhered to while performing the plan audit on your stones
 
   

Upon receipt of the aforesaid information, we shall confirm the same with you and our entire audit exercise shall then follow the aforesaid information and instructions.

  
   
The actual audit exercise shall follow the following methodology :  
the rough diamonds you want us to audit the plan or its image shall be sent to our premises at the address mentioned in this proposal i.e. Lexus House, Bamroli Road, Surat.
the stones or the image shall also be accompanied by the final plan created by your company and which shall serve as the primary data for audit
the stones shall be accompanied by two copies of duly signed jangadhs containing the details of the stones sent
upon receipt of the stone, the same shall be taken up for audit process
the identity of the stone or the image shall be changed through encryption before going into processing in order to keep your company name anonymous
the stone shall be first imaged through microscope and other equipment
the digital image of the stone shall be processed further to come up with various possible plan options using latest Helium, M-Box and other technologies
a report shall be prepared and sent to you within 24 hours containing the audit results and up-gradations to the plan, if any
