Rough diamond planning is the most critical link in the entire diamond manufacturing
cycle. Maximum value is added (or destroyed) to a rough diamond stone at the rough
planning stage. If the stone is not planned properly or if the design is flawed,
the final output will be suboptimal and nothing can be done to rectify the situation
at the execution stage or afterwards. This fact is well realized and appreciated
by all diamantiares. And therefore they have laid a lot of stress and focus on this
critical function. Huge investments have been made by all companies in planning
and design equipments and technologies. However, this does not ensure optimum planning.
There is always a lag between the invention of a new technology and its right use
by the user industry. This is because; ultimately it is the people who have to operate
the equipments and technology. And wherever there is human intervention, there is
a possibility of mistakes, errors, misjudgments and sub-optimal output or results.
An audit service to check the final design output is a solution to the above problem.
